Every project with Victoria Siding Pros follows the same process, whether it's a full re-side or a single repair — from your first call to the final walkthrough. Here's what to expect at each stage.
1. Request an Estimate
Call (361) 310-1492 or send your project details through the form on this site. Tell us what you're seeing — a full exterior update, a repair, or something in between — and we'll set up a time to come take a look, at no cost or obligation.
2. On-Site Inspection
We walk your home's exterior in person, looking at the current siding condition, any damaged areas, and details like trim, soffit, and fascia that might factor into the project. This is also when we look for signs of underlying issues — moisture damage, failed flashing, rot — that a quote based on photos alone would miss.
3. Material Consultation
We talk through material and color options for your home, your budget, and what you're trying to accomplish. We'll tell you honestly which material makes sense — often that's fiber cement for its durability, but not always — instead of steering you toward whatever has the biggest markup.
4. Written Proposal
You get a clear, itemized written estimate — what materials, what labor, and a firm price, with no hidden fees. You'll know exactly what you're paying for before you commit to anything.
5. Scheduling
Once you approve the proposal, we give you a clear timeline before work starts. Most residential siding replacements run about one to two weeks depending on the size of the home, the material, and the weather; repairs are typically much faster. We'll tell you your specific timeline up front, not just a general range.
6. Preparation
Before installation begins, we prep the work area — protecting landscaping and walkways near the home, staging materials, and confirming access. Small details here keep the project running smoothly once crews are on site.
7. Installation
This is where the details that make siding last actually happen: proper weather-resistant barriers, correct flashing at every window, door, and penetration, and fasteners driven the way the manufacturer specifies. Almost every siding failure traces back to what's behind the siding, not the material itself — so this stage gets the same care regardless of which material you chose.
8. Inspection
As work wraps up, we go over the completed installation ourselves — checking seams, flashing, caulking, and finish — before we consider the job done.
9. Cleanup
We clean up thoroughly: old material, packaging, and job-site debris are cleared away so your property looks the way it should when we leave, not like a construction site.
10. Final Walkthrough
We walk the finished project with you, answer any questions, and make sure you're satisfied with the result before we call the job complete.
11. Warranty
Every installation is backed by a written workmanship warranty. We stand behind the work we do and the materials we install.
